Turkey Trot 8K

Last Saturday, Holly, Casey and I ran in the Turkey Trot. It was an 8k, which is about 4.9 miles (I think)...YIKES! I have to say, I felt great. It was the best I have ever felt since I have started running! I ran most of the way...I think I walked only about 3 times for a minute or two each time! It was a beautiful day for it too...a little cold when we started, but I definitely was warmed up by the end. I ran the 8K in 54:54. I was right at the same pace for the Clarksville 5K that I did a few weeks ago...I was happy about that, especially because it was almost 2 more miles!! Here are a few pictures from right after the race:

So fun! Now Holly and I are training for the 'Jingle Bell Jog' on December 5th. Hoping to be able to run the 3.1 miles without stopping! :)

Here is a funny video of Chloe on our way to Church yesterday...she just melts my heart :)

Amazing Night

Last Friday was my friend Mary's "29" again birthday party. We knew where and what time we had to meet, but none of us knew exactly what we were doing. Turns out, her husband and good friends, Kailey and JR, had planned for the whole group to go to the Jay-Z concert in Nashville! What a surprise! It was amazing. Probably one of the best times of my life. Good friends, Good times! Those are the type of nights you never forget! Here are few pictures from our fun night! Happy "29th" Birthday again Mary! :)

Kind of hard to see...but this was the view from the Box we were in...there is Jay-Z!! Yay! The concert was so much fun! Oh, the box we were in just happened to be next to a box filled with Titans Players too! Pretty neat!

"Charlie" The Elf on the Shelf

Thanks Grauntie and Gruncle for our Elf on the Shelf! Chloe has named him "Charlie!" That is the name of all of her dolls too :) So funny. She was thrilled to get a package in the mail with her name on it. We are excited to start this fun tradition in our house! Charlie will be sitting out watching Chloe tonight and officially reporting to Santa! Thanks again! We love you guys! xoxo

Yummy Recipe

Rotisserie Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:
1 rotisserie chicken (I get mine from Kroger)
1 can of cream of mushroom
1 can of cream of chicken
1 cup of chicken broth
1 package of chicken flavored stuffing

Tear all of the chicken from the bone. Place in large mixing bowl. Add cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, cup of broth, and stuffing mix into bowl. Mix thoroughly. Place in large non-stick baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes!

Serve by itself or with a veggie side!

Enjoy. It's like Thanksgiving in a casserole!

Time for an UPDATE!

Well, this past Saturday, Me, Holly, and Adrienne participated in the Clarksville 5K! I have to say, it was a great feeling to finish. I was so proud of all three of us for doing it! We finished the 3.1 miles in just under 37 minutes...not too bad for our first go of it :) Here are a few pictures from the day! We are now in the process of training for the Turkey Trot, which is an 8k! Not too sure about this one...but I'm going to give it a go! :)
Right after our race...sorry it is grainy...it was taken on Blake's cell phone.

Holly and Me headed for the finish line....Yay!
That afternoon, Blake headed to Knoxville to watch the UT Game. Chloe and I laid low at home. It was such a pretty day. She was in the mood for bubbles and t-ball, and I'm not one to argue with that sweet face!

Trick or Treat...Give me something good to eat!!!

We had a fabulous Halloween this year. I was so happy that it was on a Saturday so that Blake could be there to see Chloe trick or treat. We started the day off at the APSU tailgate! Chloe got to go around and collect candy...so before the night even began, she had a full bucket! That night, we headed over to Kevin and Ashley's house to take the kids trick or treating. I think they had a good time. This was Chloe's first year to really go door to door and say "trick or treat." It was so cute. We grilled out hot dogs and ate chilli afterwards. It was a nice relaxing night with friends! Here are a few pictures for the day:

What a great day...hope yours was just as spook-tacular!
