Breakfast with Santa!!

Yesterday, we headed to the Clarksville Country Club after church for this year's Breakfast with Santa!
I am loving this new tradition we are starting...I think the kids are loving it too!
Thanks to Casey for snapping so many sweet pictures of all 3 of them!

{love these 3}

{of course Carter would be the first kid to break an ornament...}

{I thought Carter & Blake's expressions in this picture were priceless}

{He was extremely proud of his ice cream}

{Our sweet girl}

{I will post pictures of my kiddos with Santa later, but I wanted to show Chandler being so brave...at first she was a bit nervous about sitting with Santa, but after a big Momma pep talk from Casey, she ended up visiting with Santa...such a sweet moment!!}

We are getting all geared up for Christmas...
can't believe it's only 8 days away!

Kids Annual Christmas Party, Jr. Cheer, & Grinch Day

Last Saturday morning, we went to the Hale's Annual Kids Christmas Party!
I look forward to this every year.
Amelia always does such a great job.
The kids get to make an ornament, eat yummy breakfast foods, and do a gift exchange.
This year, Carter received 5 mini dump trucks & Chloe was given 2 jewelry craft kits!
It was so fun...I love these special kids that my two are getting to grow with!
Thanks Amelia & Andrew for the fun day!

Our yearly KID photo!  So funny!
Chloe is hidden in the back behind Austin & Ava Claire.
Carter didn't feel up to participating!

Later that night, we headed to Nashville to eat at Ted's Montana Grill & to look at Christmas Lights.  Well, because Opryland was swarmed with people, we skipped looking at lights {maybe another time} and headed straight to eat!  I snapped Carter's picture before we left because I thought he looked so cute in his button down and belt!

I love how he stood so still and posed for me!

At the beginning of December, our Elf on the Shelf appeared again for his yearly visit.
Charlie has been all over the place {currently hanging from Chloe's ceiling fan so he can watch her closely}...here are a few of his tricks....

He was hungry so he snagged a few cereal bars!

I guess he needed some help getting back to the North Pole this particular day!

Tuesday night, Chloe had the opportunity to cheer at the CA Basketball Game.
She really enjoys this so I was excited to take her...little did I know that she was cheering at the Boys halftime show...not the girls. 2 1/2 hours later {with Carter in tow} we were headed home.  I have to say, Carter did exceptionally well considering he had to stay in one place for such a long time!
Chloe did a great job dancing and cheering!
{Chloe is upfront w/ the gray leggings & big yellow bow}

Clarksville Academy Cuties!

Carter was so sweet during the singing of the National Anthem.
I encouraged him to put his hands over his heart & this is what he did!
Ughhhh. Sweet Boy!

Today the Grinch visited Clarksville Academy!
Everywhere at school there were signs for Who-Ville!
The kids were encouraged to dress up like a character!
We didn't get too creative...I did put pipe cleaners in Chloe's braids to make the stick out {points for a little bit of effort I guess :)}
So thankful that people {Ms. Kemmer and other Faculty Friends} send us pictures so we can experience the day with the kids too!

1st Grade Pet Show @ CA

Yesterday was the 1st Grade Pet Show.
Oh my...so sweet.
Chloe did an exceptional job.
Considering this was her first time speaking in front of a crowd {all the Kindergartners through 5th graders... I might add} She did AWESOME!
We could not have been more proud of her.
She, of course, took Riley...Riley was her active self so I was SO thankful Blake was there to keep her calm!  Here are a few pics from the event.
Practicing the night before...

Chloe giving her speech...
She said her name, Riley's name, Riley's age {10}, and also said that she likes to eat & play.

1st Grade singing "How Much is That Doggie in the Window"

Receiving her Blue Ribbon for
"Most Active Dog"

Chloe, we couldn't be more proud of you!
Way to go!
----------------------------
This morning Chloe finally had her 6 year old appointment with Dr. Roads!

Dr. Roads quickly found out that Chloe is a jokester...She was her funny, dramatic self this morning!
She passed her hearing and eye test with flying colors!
She weighed in at 43 lbs {32%} & was 47 1/2 inches tall {76%}!
Tall & Skinny
The only thing he said we need to do is DRINK MORE MILK!
Other than that, Chloe is a growing, healthy little girl...but, I already knew that!
She also had to get her flu shot...I had been avoiding mentioning it all morning.
She did great...only 1 or 2 tears were shed & she got a cool camo band-aid!

What I'm Lovin' Wednesday

I'm LOVIN' a LONG OVERDUE UPDATE!!!
I'm linkin' up with Jamie today for

We have had lots going on around the Jenkins house...
thankfully, I've documented some of it through pictures!

I'm Lovin' that we got to make this Gingerbread Train last weekend.
This kit {thanks Grandy} was super easy and went together really well!
Chloe enjoyed the decorating, while Carter enjoyed eating the candy.
Chloe has been asking every day to put together our Gingerbread House...guess we better get to it!

{serious concentration}

{testing out the icing}

I'm Lovin' that I got to have a Day Date with my Girl.
We went with our friends, Adrienne & Addison, to see the Rockettes at the Grand Ole Opry.
This is the 2nd time we have done this with the girls {1st time when they were 4}.
We had a blast. We ate lunch at Chuys, did a bit of shopping {notice the girls matching dresses from  J. Crew}, and enjoyed the show!  The weather was amazing that day, thankfully {70's in December}!
I look forward to making this a tradition...something she and I can look forward to each year {or every other}!!

I'm Lovin' this sweet boy...
well, I say sweet...he's definitely been a 'terrible 2' lately.  But, I think we will keep him...
I mean, look at this face:

{I know I'm super partial, but he has the sweetest little face}

I'm Lovin' Chloe's love for anything crafty...
Exhibit #1:
A note to her teacher, Ms. Kemmer

Exhibit #2:
While I was upstairs, she wrote us a Merry Christmas note..spelled it herself :)

I'm Lovin' these precious Grinch ornaments on the big Christmas tree at Chloe's school.
Each grade level made a different style ornament and they are displayed up and down the tree in the foyer.

I'm Lovin' that I got to have a day at home with my Boy...even though it was because we both had the stomach bug.

I'm Lovin' these new bracelets I got at market...I'm really lovin' the stacked looked right now!

I'm Lovin' this picture Ms. Kemmer sent me while Chloe was on her field trip last Friday.
They went to the Nashville Children's Museum to see Charlie Brown.
Sad I missed out on this one because I love Charlie Brown...but, I was sick the day before so there was no way I could swing it.
{Chloe & Rebekah on the bus}

I'm Lovin' the 10 day Advocare cleanse I'm on right now...mainly because I want to feel better, but it's also helping me make better food choices.  I pre-made my lunches this week...

I'm so glad I did...its saved me a TON of time this week!

Finally, I'm Lovin' our 1st visit to Christmas on the Cumberland {hoping to go at least 1 more time before Christmas}.  It has been so unseasonably warm lately so we wanted to take advantage Carter is really loving all the lights right now...everything he sees is "cool."

{Maggie & Isabella had to come with us too...they are all strapped in and ready to go}

What are you Lovin' today?
