Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

This was by far the best Christmas E.V.E.R!!! Chloe was an angel, it was so not stressful, and we got to have lots of family time! All in all...the perfect Holiday! I think I say this with every age, but 3 is by far my favorite age so far! Chloe was so into the Magic of Santa this year. She was so precious opening up her presents! I just can't describe how great this Christmas was! We hope yours was just as perfect!

Pre-Christmas Festivities

Last Thursday Chloe and I headed to the APSU game to hang with Grandy and Jenks and the Combs Crew. Chloe and Andrew had a big time....She dolled him up with lip gloss and necklaces! He was a good sport!
I thought this picture was so funny. Chloe was ready for her close up....Andrew not so much!
It is always so tricky getting all the kids to look at the camera...this is a funny, candid shot!
One of the fun events of December was Chloe's Advent Calender. She loved, loved, loved opening up the door / window each day. She even asked if she could do it today..well sweet girl...that game ended on Christmas Eve!

All Because Two People Fell In Love...

For those of you who don't know, Blake and I started dating exactly 11 years ago today...December 23rd, 1998! I really can't believe how fast time has gone. Here we are 11 years later and still going strong. We have almost been married 5 years now (well, in July) and have a beautiful little girl to show for it!. So, to mark this occasion, I thought it would be fun to take a quick walk down memory lane. Here are a few pictures of Blake and I over the years. Enjoy!
Northeast Homecoming Fall 2000
Check out Blake's blonde hair! :)
We use to match a lot...wonder who would make him do that!?
One of my favorite pictures of all time of us...Titans Game (not sure what year...oops!)
Our Wedding...July 23rd, 2005
UT Football Game...October 2005. This was right before we found out I was pregnant!!
Now, with our precious Boo Girl!
Even though Blake doesn't let me count this Anniversary anymore...I still want to say "Happy Anniversary, Blakie!!" I love you...here's to 50 more!

Fun Times Fun Times

We had an insane weekend. Blake and I headed with a group of friends to Lexington on Friday. Austin Peay was playing UK Saturday night so we thought it would be a good opportunity to visit the city and watch APSU play! We ended up leaving late Friday night so we stopped in Bowling Green for the night. We stayed in a prime hotel (not so much :)). Early Saturday we headed to Lexington. It actually snowed a bit up there so we stopped by the Horse Racing Track at Keenland. It was so pretty! We definitely want to go back and visit in the Spring! We went to the AP game later that afternoon...UK fans are really intense! I have to say that they are super loyal! We sat right in the heart of UK territory....everyone around us was so nice. No one gave us a hard time when we were cheering for our home team! Austin Peay did an amazing job...I was so proud to be there and watch them really take on one of the best teams in the country. They held their own...only down, at many times in the game, by just a few points! Many of the UK fans around us were very impressed with the team! I think its going to be a great season for the Peay!

Can you spot Blake and Travis? Our seats were not by each other...we were in a sea of blue!

Sunday was a mad dash to get home so we could attend Christmas Church at Grace! It was well worth the rush! We made it there (only a minute or 2 late)...Chloe thoroughly enjoys going to Grace Acres...she always has so much to tell us when we pick her up. After Church, we headed to Cracker Barrel for some "to go" brunch and a nice little nap. Later that night, we went to Amelia and Andrew's house for the Kids Christmas Gift Swap. Amelia did it up right...the kids made Cookies for Santa, made Snowman Ornaments, ate good food, and did their gift exchange. All in all, a very hectic, but very fun weekend!

She got a Barbie from Jack...and LOVED it :)

What a Thursday

Yesterday was jam packed with activities. Chloe had her Class Christmas Party. I left work a little early so that I could go and be a "parent helper!" It was so fun to see what they do day to day (even though it was only a small glimpse). I have to hand it to her teacher, Mrs. Tammy...she has those kids in check for sure! Here are a few snap shots of her yesterday morning and at her party!

After Chloe's class party, we headed to "the studio" (as Chloe calls it). I thought she looked so cute in her little tutu. Normally, she does not let me put her tutu on, but yesterday she didn't fight me....so, of course, I took full advantage!
