Not only is she my sweet treat :)...a sweet friend, Gail Settle, dropped off the most adorable tutu and wand for Chloe today. She definitely knows Chloe is a girl that loves pink!!! She is going to die when she sees this! It goes perfect with her "Ballet" themed birthday party! Thanks Gail! :)

Lately

Well, today I turn the BIG 2-7....I guess it is not super monumental except for the fact that I am about to help Chloe celebrate her 4th birthday, and I'm about to welcome our sweet baby boy in less than 50 days! I have to say, I'm having issues with Chloe turning 4...it just makes me feel like time is moving so fast, and I have no way of making it stop. Here are a few pictures of her lately...she is truly the sweetest thing...we couldn't have gotten any luckier!

She's at it again...

Well, the funny comments just keep coming OR maybe I'm just getting my memory back and remembering to document these things. Either way, Chloe had a few interesting things to say the other day!

In regards to her brother, again:
"Momma, does he have a toy in there?"

In regards to death (I had a friend recently have a great loss in her family and I was trying to explain to Chloe what was going on):
"Momma, do you get to take a suitcase to heaven?"

--She was very, very curious about Heaven and what happens surrounding a death...I have to say that it was hard coming up with answers to her questions that she would understand. I guess this is just another stage that we both need to work through!

My Little Funny Girl

On the way home from my Dad's house the other day, Chloe started asking questions about Carter. Most were very good questions...you can tell she was really thinking about it. Like, "does he sleep when you sleep...", etc. After she asked several, she said:

"Momma, is there a chair in there for him to sit on?"

So funny....I mean, it makes sense. Is he just standing there the whole time? :) I tried to explain that he is constantly moving around!

It was really, really sweet :)

Sneak Peek...and a few other pictures!

Hooray! Carter's bedding finally arrived yesterday. Chloe had a play date last night so I stuck it on the bed as quick as I could..it is not arranged to perfection yet, but I wanted to share a sneak peek of it! It is even more adorable than I could have imagined....I'll share more soon!

It has lots of bright colors...oranges, lime green, brown, blue, ecru! So exciting!

Also, I have had several (well, lots) of great things made in preparation for Carter's arrival! The amazing woman that has been doing this for me...made me a special treat! This romper is going to be SO cute in the Winter! Thanks Amy...very much appreciated!

Also, I don't think I posted this....but, this is what Blake gave me for our Anniversary back in July! This may seem silly to some...but, he really is a sweetie! I know that this thoughtfulness will one day rub off on Carter...well, I can at least hope!

Okay, I might need to explain. Blake and I are not in 2010 as far as technology is concerned. We don't have INTERNET at home...the shame! We both do what we have to do at work...and never saw the need since we have Internet on our phones. So, since I am about to go on Maternity leave, we thought it would be a good time to move into this century! But, he didn't want to order a computer without my input! So...there you have it! I thought it was a fun way to give it to me though! I wish I would have taken the picture before I opened it!
