Time is just flying

We have had so many fun activities lately. This past weekend, we went to the Lake with a big group of friends (sans kiddos). It was so fun. It was incredibly hot but completely worth it! Our friend Amelia celebrated her birthday with yummy cupcakes from the new cupcake shop in Clarksville! The boys got to jump off of a cliff (fun times)....and we got plenty of sun! It was a great weekend!
Yesterday, we took the kids to the Nashville Zoo. It was a great day. We were only there for a few hours, but we were able to see everything, ride the carousel, and eat ice cream! The kids (and Moms) were totally exhausted afterwards...well, maybe just me :))

Crawfish Boil on the Farm

A few weekends ago, we were invited to a Crawfish Boil (Thanks Shea and Will :))! It was so fun. Gosh, it really made me realize how hot TN is though....I hadn't really been outside much until then...it was an inferno! But, we had an AMAZING time. I got to see lots of people that I don't normally get to see! Fun time had by all! :)

Thankfully Casey had her camera...we got a few shots of the girls. You can see just how hot it was that day by their red cheeks. Oh, one good thing, they had a pool out there so Chloe did get to take a dip :)

Sweet Summertime

Wow...things have been busy lately. My belly is still growing at rapid speeds so I am trying to really enjoy being a Mom to 1!!! With that being said, all 3 of us have been going, going, going!

Helping Mommy make a "homemade" pizza! She was excited to help!
We went to a Sounds game recently...it was so fun! The kids loved it! Thankfully, this particular day, it was not 1000 degrees! It was actually cool and nice! Blake bought Chloe a pink bat and we got to eat frozen yogurt out of a ball hat! Good times! Kids above: Addison, Chloe, Jack, Alec

Sweet friends
Swimming Lessons at the Settlement! Chloe is having such a great time! It was Parents Day last Friday and Blake and I got to go! I think Chloe was proud to have us there because not many parents showed up! One thing I admire about my sweet girl is that she might not be the biggest risk taker in the bunch, but she was always the first to raise her hand that she wanted to try! I really love that about here! She is doing pretty good..thankfully, she LOVES the water! :)

Doing a move "Tickle, T, Push"...I guess that helps them learn to swim on their backs...she didn't have it down 100%, but she sure did try and smiled the whole time!
This past Saturday, we headed to KY for Wendy and Brandon's wedding! Wendy was Casey's roommate in college. We have known her for many, many years now and she has always been such a great friend to Casey and a sweet person to know! Blake couldn't go, but Chloe and I made the drive with Don, Sandy, and Chandler (Casey was already there). It was a beautiful wedding...HOT, but beautiful. I told Wendy that I wanted Chloe to look just like her when she got married....she just looked stunning and completely blissful. The ceremony and reception were both outside...not the easiest thing for a 23 week pregnant woman, but we enjoyed anyway! I thought Chloe looked so sweet with her flower headband! Sassy!
This was after the ceremony...she was a little sweaty (as was I)...I thought her face was priceless!
They had an ice cream bar (along with other great food)...that really helped to keep us cool!

Chandler standing up by herself for the 1st time! Great moment...she clapped for herself...she was proud (as were all of us onlookers :))!
Chloe loves her Chandler!

After church, Chloe was excited to give her Daddy his father's day present. It was a polka dot paper tie that she made at school...very sweet! We had a great day...lunch with my Dad, a nap, and swimming and dinner with Don and Sandy! A little late, but Happy Father's Day to the Best Daddy and Husband! Chloe just adores you as do I! We love you! :)

Silly Girls

Wednesday, we went over to Adrienne and Travis' house to let the girls play. They have such a fun time together. They played hard for several hours. When it got dark, we went to their back yard to catch some lightening bugs. Addison was a pro...Chloe was a little scared at first, but she got the hang of it after we told her they were not scary. They caught several and were excited to show them off!

When we went back inside (with 2 very hype little girls), Blake decided to roll them up like a burrito...they loved every second of it!

Hello Summer!

The other day, I finally got the sprinkler out for Chloe to play in. She had been asking to do it for weeks. Well, it lasted a whole 15 minutes, but she sure did have a BIG time! :)

Saturday was Flying High. It is an Annual fundraiser for the Museum. This was its 27th year! Blake and I have gone for the last 3 years and it is always a good time. This year was no exception. The food was amazing....the best yet! I have to give it to the coordinator, Liana, she did an amazing job with it all! The theme was a Tennessee Supper!
The only downside to the night was the intense heat...but, oh well, we do live in TN and it is always like this...what's new?

Me & Ashley
Sunday at church, Big Church talked about Parenting, Grace Acres (where Chloe goes) talked about families. They were asked to cut out, glue, and color their family. Chloe was so excited to show me that she included a Mommy, a Daddy, a Sister & a BROTHER! She even told me that she colored him BLUE (well, it is actually green...but whatever)! It just melted my heart! I love how excited she is. I have to say, I am thrilled that we waited until this time to have another one because she is so involved and happy about it! Here's hoping it stays this way after he gets here!
After church, Chloe and I ate lunch with Brittnye at O'Charleys! It was yum! We then headed to Target and finally to Toys R Us to pick up what you see above....Silly Bands as Chloe likes to call them! She got more than just one...24 to be exact! She is so excited about them! Score...best $4.99 I ever spent! I guess these are all the craze. What I think is crazy is that my 4 year old knows about them! I can only hope that all her "wants" only cost $4.99!

Say Hello to our Baby Boy :)

Sweet Baby Boy
Lips and Nose...turn your head to the left and look sideways. It looks like he was pushing on the ultrasound thing...the tech had to really show me so don't feel bad if you don't see it :)
His 2 sweet feet!

We had a pretty extensive Ultrasound this past Tuesday. The tech took over 100 pictures of him! These were some of the good ones she got! So excited to meet him. No name yet...the jury is still out on that one.

Oh, after my apt. I felt the need to go and buy him something because I haven't done that yet. I started buying green / yellow stuff for Chloe the second I found out I was pregnant...I guess it really is different the 2nd time around! Anyway, I found him 2 adorable Ralph Lauren outfits for him to wear next summer (I know...far away, but everything out now doesn't really apply to an October baby)!!!

Chloe's First Recital

This past weekend, Chloe had her first Dance Recital! We could not be more proud of her! She did so well! I would have just been happy if she got up there and stood....I was worried she would get scared BUT she got up there and shook it...6 different times! She had 2 nights of recital...Thursday and Saturday. They were long and tiring nights, but so worth it! We didn't get home until well after 10:30pm both nights (that is WAY past her 8pm bedtime). She had a ballet number, a tap number and then the finale each night! Oh, her class also won Dance Class of the Year! Yay! It was for attendance, wearing the correct attire and having a willingness to learn! So proud of all the girls (and little Jack)! Here are a few...well, a lot of pictures from the 2 nights:
She had just fell down in her tap shoes...I probably should not have laughed, but that was my reaction :(

Her whole class (minus Jack). Don't they look so cute. They danced to "All Shook Up."

Her ballet costume was precious. They danced to "Unforgettable."

Showing me her moves!

All finished after her first night. For the finale, they danced to "Yellow Submarine" and wore their recital t-shirt, inner tube, and goggles! Very cute.

This was after she was completely done on Saturday night. Everyone gave her flowers...she was quite excited. This was the best picture that I got of us 3...well, 4 :) She was very hyped up after a few long nights! We are looking forward to another year of dance! Chloe loved it!
