The Sounds

Well, of course, it has been a while since I have updated this thing. Not to much going on with us besides the normal craziness. Blake and I are both sick right now..and happily passing it onto family and co-workers :) I know they love us for it. Last week we were invited to a Nashville Sounds game with Kevin and Ashley. We had a blast. If you have never been, you should go. We are definitely going back. They had 4 really great tickets that were right behind home plate. We ate funnel cake, hamburgers, and hot dogs and had a few beverages...it was 'Thirsty Thursdays!'...how could we resist! All in all, fun was had by everyone! Grandy and Jenks watched Chloe for us...they are the best!

Chloe got her hair trimmed yesterday. It amazes me how much hair she has now...I thought she had a bunch of hair when we had these pictures taken:

Funny huh? But, in comparison to now...that was nothing! This was the first day we ever put her hair into pig tails...I love it :)

She is growing so fast. I have to remind myself to take in everyday so that I can remember her this small. Before I know it she will be in Kindergarten, getting married, etc. Just get me the tissues now! Well, that is all that is new here! I will post more pictures next week! Have a great weekend :) Oh, we have family pictures on Saturday...pray for good weather and a happy child!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies out there! What a wonderful day to celebrate such a blessing. I can't express into words how proud and honored I am to be Chloe's Mom. She is my world! I love that I get the privilege to watch her grow day in and day out. I am looking forward to knowing who she is going to be. I can't believe I get to help mold who she will be when she is older. I hope everyone had as good of a day as I did! Thank-you to Blake and Chloe for making my day so special! Below are some new pictures from Mother's Day at Stoney River in Cool Springs. Lately...

Last Saturday, Adrienne and I took Chloe and Addison to a 'Mommy and Me' Gymnastics class. It was fun. Really it was just 45 minutes to let the girls run around and get all of their energy out. They had mats for them to roll on, a trampoline, and blow ups. I think Chloe liked it...I think she will take to it the more we go. It is once a week so we'll see what she thinks tomorrow. I did go and get her a leotard because she was the only little girl that did not have one last week...I know that is dorky, but I want to do it right :) So, she will be super cute this weekend while running around. Addison took to the hanging bar really quickly...Chloe (as you can see) was a little more hesitant.



On Sunday, we went to Jimmy and Sarah Biggerman's house. It was Max's 3rd birthday party. We were there most of the afternoon. We stayed after the party and grilled out. Jimmy is in the Military so he was only home for the weekend. Blake wanted to get some good quality time in with him while he was here. We had a great time. Chloe loved playing with all of Max's new toys...especially 'Hungry, Hungry Hippo' and this strange fish toy. I am not sure what it is called, but it is a fish that spits out little pieces of paper and the kids are suppose to catch them in the net. Needless to say, they played with it until the batteries wore out. Chloe did not successfully catch any in her net, but she had fun picking them up off the floor.

Max got this great recliner from his Grandparents...Chloe really loved it!
