Our sweet baby boy didn't want to cooperate when these were taken so we are meeting again this coming weekend to snap a few 1 year old pictures of him!  I can't wait!

but my REAL FULL  name is Franchesca.  I love my name, but it's a mouthful...hence why I go by Fran.

Never did I ever have a key chain, cup, or magnet with my real name on it.

I'm Lovin' the new marriage study Blake and I have started...I'm looking forward to digging in and figuring out this thing called Marriage...even though we are already 6 years in.  Never to late to start!

I'm Lovin' this very appropriate snippet from my daily devotional...Amanda was talking about this yesterday, and it hit me like a Mach Truck today when I was reading it:

"As I sat scribbling my to-do list this morning, I was reminded of an ancient adage that goes something like this,

How true is this?  I spend my whole life making lists and checking it twice...when I really need to throw it out the window and stop worrying about the small stuff so much.  Who can't relate?

I'm Lovin' the final days of fall decor being displayed.  I found these adorable pumpkins for 80% off at Hobby Lobby last night...had to turn them on to enjoy them for a few short days before Christmas stuff goes up at the Jenkins Household!

First, Happy Veterans Day! 

Thanks to all those that have served our Country proudly and bravely...including my own Dad!  

Love you Dad & thanks for your Service!

Second...today is 11.11.11....to mark the occasion, my favorite boy and I headed to see our favorite Doctor for his 1 year check up!  Here's the rundown:

Healthy. Happy. Big.

All 3 I already knew!

Weight: 26.12 (89%)

Height: 32" (93%)

Head: 48cm (86%)

He is good and proportionate!  I'm thankful for that! :)  He also had to get 4 shots today...not a good way to spend a Friday.  He cried for just a moment though...such a tough guy!

He then proceeded to fall right asleep in the car like the perfect prince he is!  

Dr. Road said that Carter is ahead of the game as far as talking...most babies his age say 0-5 words.  Carter clearly says:

Mama

Dada

NayNay (his sitter)

Dye-Dye

Hi

He also said that there is no concern that he is not walking just yet.  He is close...he just needs to not be so lazy and let go of Mama's hands!

All in all, a great visit!  We booked our 15 month apt.  I can't fathom him already being that old!

She's growing up fast folks!

I texted this picture to Blake and told him that we need to put her under lock and key :)  He said--

"WOW, she looks beautiful but it makes me sick that she is so big now!"  I AGREE.  

When did she turn into a little lady?

Yesterday, Chloe's school called and said she wasn't feeling so good.  So she got to come and hang with Momma at work for a while before we headed to the Doctor.  Here she is hanging out eating lunch with 

Mrs. Amanda & Me!

She was eating 2 lunches as you can see...funny for a girl that barely eats anything at all!  It was $2 lunch at the BCM across the street...Wednesday Lunch is our favorite at Jenkins and Wynne!

For some perspective, here is Chloe a few years ago visiting Mommy at work!  She has grown so much!

A few other updates....

In honor of Veterens Day tomorrow, CA had a program today that Chloe participated in.  Grandy and I headed over this afternoon to watch!  It was adorable!  You can't really see her, but this is the Pre-K & Kindergarten classes singing:

"We LOVE A-M-E-R-I-C-A!"  

So sweet!

This treat came in for our favorite guy today...he will be so excited when he gets home!  I have to say, I'm a tad bit jealous that he gets the first IPhone 4S of the house!  

I finally got around to turning Carter's car seat around last night.  

He enjoyed facing forward...he can see the world!

Finally, Chloe fell asleep watching Shirley Temple movies again last night...she looked so sweet with all her blankets and her Baby Maggie.  I am trying to soak in the last few moments of toddler-hood.  She still wears a 5T so in my mind...she is still a Toddler...I know, I know...it's ridiculous.  But, when I look at the picture of her being sassy (see above), I quickly realize that she will be 13 in a blink of an eye, and I will be wishing that she was still 5!
