The 5 Tag

Well, Amanda tagged me several weeks ago, I finally have a moment to play the game.

Here are the rules:

-5 short things about yourself (not the normal stuff we already know)
-5 things about your blog
-5 of your favorite photos
-Tag 5 blog friends

Here I go:

5 things about me:

1. I'm proud to be a young Mom.  Blake and I were blessed with our first child, Chloe, at the rip ole' age of 23 years old.  Talk about a life awakening moment.  We had only been married for 5 months when we found out...plus we were one of the first of our friends to have kids.

2. Blake & I have been together for almost 14 years.  I think I mention that often, but there is something to be said about growing together through high school, then the college years, and now as real life adults ;)

3. I'm an only child. Not too strange, but, this made it extremely difficult to decide to have a second child. We finally made the leap when Chloe was 4 years old...it was perfect timing.  Carter couldn't have been more of a blessing.  I would recommend at least an age spread of 4 years+ between kids.  It has definitely been beneficial for us!

4. I'm an Army brat...but, was blessed with living in one place my entire life...minus the 3 years I lived in Mannheim, Germany (between the ages of 5-8).  I am born and raised right here in Clarksville.  I guess its a good thing my Dad was 160th...they don't tend to move too often!

5.  I work with my family.  I work hand in hand with  my sister-in-law, Casey.  I also work indirectly with my husband and his Dad.  It sounds crazy, but it works for us.  It has for more than 7 years now.  Blake and I also live in my sister-in-laws backyard...we are always in close proximity!

5 things about my blog:

1. I have been journaling our life since February 2008.  Woah!  Chloe was a teeny tiny 18 month old at the time!  Wow, she has grown!

2. This is my personal story...but, I choose to highlight the positive things that happen with my family.  I don't want to look back in 50 years and reminisce on all the negative stuff.  Life's too short.

3. I really use this as a way to remember all the fun stuff the kids have done, their accomplishments, their growth.  It's basically a glorified baby book!

4. I don't change my 'blog' look too often because for me, it's a tough thing to do.  Thanks to Amanda, I've learned how to manipulate a few things!  I'm currently in love with the way it looks!

5. This is my 466th post!  That's insane!

5 of my favorite photos:

A lot of these are repeats...I use them a lot because they are my favorite!

1. Favorite Wedding Photo #1
{great thing about this photo...we were only able to get these outside shots because the wedding party limo decided to stop off at the liquor store before coming to the reception.  Thankful for their decision though because this is my fav ;)}

2. Favorite Wedding Photo #2
{taken right outside of the Church after we were pronounced Husband & Wife}

3. My sweet love bug
{Chloe-March 2008-before Brittnye and Steven's rehearsal dinner.  She was a flower girl}
